Be kind to yourself. This is a long game, not a sprint.
Rest. Give yourself a break and allow yourself to sit still and reset before trying again.
Revisit your self-care routines. If you abandoned them, do you need to tweak them? Maybe you need to introduce a new practice and put another on the shelf for now.
Remember, healing and growth happen in a spiral, not a straight line. We revisit the same stuff at deeper levels (yay!). When it comes around again, it doesn’t mean you failed. It means you are ready to make room for new and better stuff.
Pick up the habit again and keep going. No one says it has to be perfect - no one who is doing the work, anyway.
